These noodles are usually eaten cold with a light sauce called MEN TSUYU.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ak-ul\" data-indent-level=\"1\">\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"257\"><strong data-renderer-mark=\"true\">MEN:<\/strong> Noodle<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"274\"><strong data-renderer-mark=\"true\">TYUYU:<\/strong> Name given to the sauce.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"304\">The cooking type varies from 2~3 minutes.<br \/>\nOnce cooked, drain, wash in very cold water and refrigerate until slightly chilled.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"439\">The sauce comes in two versions: those that do not need to be diluted in water and those that do.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"526\">If you want something a little more flavorful and with more protein, you can cook chicken sasami, canned tsuna, and add vegetables to taste.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"667\">The Japanese have the habit of adding negui (scallions), wasabi, grated or tubed shoga (ginger) and\/or myoga as a side dish. A dish that is enjoyed with summer vegetables.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"859\">The sauce has many uses outside of soumen.
