Table tennis player, Cláudio Aoki, sponsored by Spring School, Champion!

On the 25th, the table tennis championship was held at Sekishin Fureai Arena (Seki City Gymnasium).
In Japan, these championships are held between clubs and their table tennis players.

The championship is mixed and men and women can participate, regardless of age or level; This is a category requirement, as this way the player can show their level and skill during the game.

How do the qualifiers work?

Firstly, there is a direct confrontation between the participants. The winners and losers are separated into 2 brackets: A and B.

A “bracket” refers to a competitor or team in a sporting tournament that is given an initial seeding to avoid facing better opponents early in the competition.

Similar to the mirror bracket, to assemble brackets A and B, a new draw is carried out in order to define the position of each player in the table and who will be seeded.

A good criterion to define this is to take into account the balance of sets and games. This type of bracket is ideal for open tournaments where the level of the players is not known or there is no ranking to base it on.

Tennis player Cláudio Aoki sponsored by Spring School, participated in this tournament and achieved, with a lot of effort and dedication, a great result, becoming champion of the tournament.

The Spring School is always by your side to make your dreams come true!
