Spring Undokai 2023
Spring Undokai 2023 On 05/04/2023, in the midst of the Golden Week holiday, we held the first official Spring Undokai. Undokai is a very common event in Japanese schools, and takes place between the months of May and October. It is a sports gymkhana where students are divided into 2 teams and carry out various activities, which require concentration, communication and teamwork, but which also guarantee a lot of fun and companionship. Therefore, Spring School promoted this event so that everyone in the community had the opportunity to experience a little more of Japanese culture through integration. For this year's event, the venue chosen for the activity was Shinmaiko Marine Park, in the city of Chita, Aichi Prefecture. In an open and spacious field, more than 100 people, including students, friends and family, were able to have fun, play and most importantly, practice English and Japanese (their languages of study), in addition to spending quality time with lots of fun . We know that in Japan the routine is hectic for everyone, which often hinders opportunities to interact with other people, creating new bonds of friendship. However, Spring School, in addition to being the largest language school for Latin Americans in Japan, has as its differential the events that take place throughout the year. Every month the school offers different extra activities, in which students can interact and practice speaking the language they are studying and also meet new people, create new bonds and discover affinities. And then? Interested in our school's events? Come be a Springer too and have fun while learning. Oh! And do not forget.. Spring your Life! By: Sayuri Santos
