Accompanied by their teachers, students had the opportunity to learn about different species, exploring more about their ecologies and behaviors.
The main focus was the importance of nature conservation and the educational role of the zoo in raising public awareness of the threats that some of these species face in their natural habitats.
During the visit, animal welfare issues were also discussed, highlighting the new habitats created by the zoo in recent years, which prioritize the preservation of the species' natural behaviors and their overall health.
Before the event, the teachers of Spring School They had already introduced the basic concepts of nature and conservation during classes, using pedagogical activities that aimed to train the language and enrich the students' vocabulary.
In addition to a day of learning, it was also a great opportunity for the English and Japanese students to interact in a fun and relaxed environment. Even in the heat, the students were enthusiastic enough to explore most of the zoo, while recording fond memories of the animals and their classmates.
Some of the highlights included seeing the siamango and other primates; feeding the jaguar and getting a sneak peek at the tigers.
