Our Unforgettable Experience in London
These last few days in London were simply unforgettable. We had an experience that combined learning, friendship, and cultural discoveries. There were five of us: Me (Teacher Keila), Thomy, Sayuri, Miyu, and Rayssa.
From Monday to Friday, our days began with English classes. Each morning was an opportunity to delve deeper into the language, practice, make mistakes, learn, and, most importantly, gain confidence. But what really stood out for us was how each lesson turned into practice soon afterward, when we went out to explore the city.
We visited places that until then we had only seen in films and books: Big Ben, the charming Tower Bridge, the Sherlock Holmes Museum, the Natural History Museum, the British Museum, and of course, the unforgettable view from the London Eye.
We walked through lively neighborhoods like Soho, Chinatown, Notting Hill, Camden Market, and enjoyed moments of peace in Greenwich Park.
Each outing is a different lesson. At the market, we learn how to order typical foods. At museums, we practice historical and scientific vocabulary. On the bustling streets, we experience London's cultural diversity.
I saw my students taking more risks with English, communicating confidently and having fun at the same time.
More than just tourist attractions, what we took away from this trip were the transformations each person experienced.
Seeing the sparkle in their eyes when they were able to communicate, the joy in discovering a new place and the bond that was created between us was something very special.
I can say with certainty: this trip was not just about getting to know London, but about growing together.
Learning English is no longer restricted to the classroom; it has become part of our lives, our stories and memories.
