Snow Adventures: Snowboard Lesson with Spring School at Jib Highland Ski Area
On the last weekend of January (26/01), a group of six people, made up of professor Murilo and five students from Spring School, ventured into the mountains for an unforgettable experience.
The destination? The famous Jib Highland Ski Area, an ideal place for beginners, with a complete infrastructure, including a restaurant and two lifts that facilitate access to the slopes.
The day began with Teacher Murilo helping each of the students to rent the equipment needed to practice snowboarding. Murilo, always attentive, was our guide during the event, sparing no effort to ensure that each student felt comfortable and prepared for this challenge.
During the first few attempts, our Teacher stayed close by, holding hands with those who were just learning, holding them as they balanced on the boards and encouraging them with words of encouragement.
The beginner-friendly track offered the perfect chance for students to gain confidence and practice their skills.
Our day was more than just a snowboarding lesson, but also a moment of bonding between colleagues and an opportunity to overcome fears, have a good laugh and share the joy of learning something new.
By the end of the day, the group was exhausted but full of stories to tell. The event provided students with hands-on learning about snowboarding, reinforcing the importance of mutual support and motivation in the learning process.
The Jib Highland Ski Area, with its friendly and welcoming structure, was the perfect setting for this day of overcoming and fun.
“It was an amazing day! I learned a lot and had even more fun,” said one of the students, reflecting on the experience.
Another added: “With Teacher Murilo’s help, even falls became easier to deal with. Now all that’s needed is more practice!”
The Spring School, with events like this, continues to provide unique and enriching experiences for its students, both inside and outside the classroom.
