Hello Springers! How are you? Our beloved Golden week is coming and have you already planned the activities to relax this holiday?
Today Teacher Vicky brings you some tips to make the most of these hot and fun days.
“Golden week” refers to an already well-known long holiday in Japan. It is made up of 4 important dates in the country:
- Shōwa Day;
- Constitution Memorial Day;
- Green Day;
- Children's Day.
They cover the week of April 29th to May 5th. Furthermore, the date takes place close to the change of season, the beginning of Spring, making it the perfect time to stretch our legs and relax!
The holiday has several promotions on clothes, festivals where we can enjoy typical foods and, of course, outdoor walks. Here we will see some interesting tours for you and your whole family!
Nonhoi park- Toyohashi Zoo
In Aichi province, the Zoo is an unmissable trip for children, in addition to the well-known animals from different parts of the world, the park also has an archaeological museum with life-size sculptures of different Dinos to play with and take lots of photos, a Botanical Garden and a small amusement park with a ferris wheel with a privileged view of the city.
Nagoya Aquarium
If you are considering a visit to the aquarium, I guarantee you won't regret it!
This incredible aquarium has several species of the most diverse marine animals, as well as shows throughout the day, from dolphins to whales. Fun is guaranteed!
Flower Park in Hamamatsu
The Flower Park is the ideal place to enjoy the beauty of Spring. The park has around 3,000 species of flowers and plants, tropical and oriental gardens and even a fountain that turns on during the day to cool off and play.
